It looks like Girls’ most polarizing love interest won’t be fighting crime on the big screen anytime soon. In an interview with The Huffington Post, Adam Driver denied rumors that he’ll join the cast of Batman vs. Superman, saying he didn’t know how the gossip even started.
‘Girls’ star Adam Driver says he won’t play Nightwing in ‘Batman vs. Superman’

In a report earlier this month, Driver was allegedly slated to play Nightwing, otherwise known as Dick Grayson and the former ward and sidekick of Ben Affleck’s Batman. In the interview, however, the actor actually laughed when asked whether or not the rumor was true. “No, there’s no truth to it,” he told HuffPo. “I don’t know whoever put it out there. I don’t know how these things get [started].”
Casting for the epic film, with Zack Snyder at the helm, is still ongoing. While Henry Cavill will be joining Ben Affleck to fill the title roles, rumors also abound that the studio is looking for Wonder Women to complete the film’s holy trinity.
