Release notes 26-03 //

It’s been a minute since our last release notes. Not because nothing was happening. Quite the opposite. We’ve been a little busy rethinking a pretty big part of the site.

Here’s what’s new:

Homepage relaunch

  • We’ve rolled out a new version of the homepage, designed to be a mix of something you can browse and something you can keep up with. Part curated, part “what just happened.”
  • Read more about the changes here or listen to Nilay, Helen and David discuss it on Vergecast.

Improvements / Fixes

  • The feed scrollbar should behave itself now. No more visual overlap.
  • Some curated story groups now include a “more to explore” link when there’s, well, more to explore.
  • Down at the bottom of the page, it’s easier to jump deeper into more on specific topics.

We’ve been keeping an eye on feedback across comments and other corners of the internet, but if you want to tell us something directly like a bug, a request, a “have you considered…” — you can holler at us here.
