Amazon Prime Video is adding animated series made with AI.

Amazon MGM Studios greenlit three shows as part of its GenAI Creators’ Fund, which gives producers access to the company’s AI filmmaking platform. The projects include Cupcake & Friends from BuzzFeed Studios; Love, Diana Music Hunters from former Nickelodeon exec Albie Hecht; and Punky Duck from animator Jorge R. Gutierrez.

All three shows will debut on Prime Video “at a future date.”

It’s not stopping any time soon.

Over the last few months, I’ve written stories with the headlines “Waiting to buy a game console will cost you,” “Everything about buying video games is getting more confusing and expensive,” and “The future of game consoles is looking bleak.” And the costs just keep going up: the Steam Deck is now $200 more expensive. Whew!

Roku’s new homepage is rolling out to everyone.

The redesign, which Roku first started testing last year, puts a new Quick Access section at the top of the page with shortcuts to your most-used apps, followed by a personalized Top Picks row with show and movie recommendations.

The update is rolling out to “all Roku devices in the US,” and once it hits, you’ll also find a new Destinations section, where you can browse titles by category.

It’s going to be a while before you can play Dragon Quest XII.

During a brief presentation, Square Enix showed a first look at the long-in-the-works RPG, but also revealed that they had to “restart” development, so it’s going to be even longer before launch. It currently doesn’t have a release date. But hey: a new DQ Monsters is on the way.

Luce x Leo.

The Vatican and Ferrari go way back, so a little cross promotion of the all-electric Luce is to be expected. But not even divine intervention will pacify Ferrari fans eager for a return of sharp, aggressive lines. Still, I think we can all agree that it looks better than the all-electric G-Class popemobile which also cost half a million dollars.

Who brings a laptop to the Eastern Conference Finals?

Knicks fans are certainly an eccentric bunch. One of them felt the need to bust out his laptop to record himself celebrating outside Madison Square Gardens after the Knicks swept the Cleveland Cavaliers. Hope it wasn’t a work laptop!
