There’s a strong argument that the newer M4 iPad Air is the better value for most folks. However, if you’re not concerned about processing power and couldn’t care less for Apple Intelligence, the base-model iPad is once again on sale at Amazon and Walmart ahead of Memorial Day starting at $299, its second-best price to date.

Amazon’s promotion is for select Belkin products, including its Nintendo Switch 2 charging cases and some of its Qi2.2 wireless charging pads. As an example, you can get its great Switch 2 Charging Case Pro (regularly $99.99) and its 2-in-1 Qi2.2 charging pad (normally $59.99) for $120 when you add both to your cart.

Nothing’s Phone 4A Pro is one of our favorite budget phones, and it’s hit an all-time low of $449.99 ($50 off) at Amazon. Its big 6.83-inch 144Hz OLED display is larger and brighter than many of its rivals, while its slim design and solid performance make it a great option if you don’t want to spend flagship money. Walmart and Amazon are still offering $10 off physical preorders of Yoshi and the Mysterious Book for the Nintendo Switch 2, costing $59.99 instead of $69.99. The game launches on May 21st, and we recently published our review of the game. Spoiler: it’s adorable, fun, and easy.

The second-gen food recycler is now available from Mill for $874 ($125 off). It’s designed to grind your leftovers — meat, veggies, etc. — into nutrient-rich grounds, which, in turn, you can use to feed your chickens or garden. Ring’s new Battery Doorbell Plus is down to $119.99 ($60 off) at Amazon and Best Buy for the first time. It builds upon its predecessor with a sharper 2K video and improved zoom, while retaining a head-to-toe view. Optional AI features, including text activity summaries and facial recognition, are free for a month, then cost $19.99 monthly.

The ROG Xreal R1 AR glasses are a whopping $849.99 to preorder at Best Buy, and they’ll release on June 1st in the US, according to a press release. The collaboration, first shown off at CES 2026, blends the features of Xreal’s other glasses with a unique design (and a fast 240Hz refresh rate), and includes an HDMI dock with purchase.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment for the Nintendo Switch 2 is $49.99 at Best Buy for the physical edition. Though it’s a musou title (all gas, no brakes action), its narrative builds on Tears of the Kingdom and even lets you wield a blade as Princess Zelda. Read our review.

The Gozney Tread, a totable pizza oven lauded by several Verge staffers, is available for $399.99 ($100 off) from Amazon, The Home Depot, and Gozney, matching its best price to date. The handle-equipped propane oven is large enough to cook a 12-inch pie and can reach up to 950 degrees Fahrenheit, which, if you’re not familiar with Neapolitan-style pizzas, is an absolute must.
