Who is really in charge of design at Apple?
The company’s design team technically reports to CEO Tim Cook, but hardware chief John Ternus — reportedly the leading candidate to replace Cook — is now the design group’s “executive sponsor” internally. In that role, Ternus “represents the design organization in executive team gatherings and manages the group’s leaders,” Bloomberg reports.
