The Sony Alpha Instagram account shared a short and vague teaser for a new Sony RX10 camera that will be announced on July 9th at 10AM ET. The last version was 2017’s RX10 IV that launched with a 24-600mm 25x optical zoom lens, a 20.1-megapixel 1-inch sensor, and up to 24fps capture capabilities with autofocus and tracking.

A new firmware update for the Sony WH-1000XM6 and 1000X The Collexion headphones is now available through the Sony Sound Connect mobile app. In addition to performance improvements the update adds support for the low-latency Bluetooth Gaming Audio Profile, but keep in mind the device you’re pairing with needs to support GMAP, too.

After teasing the upgraded model alongside the original Mic Mini 2 that launched in April, DJI has announced the ¥629 ($93) Mic Mini 2S in China. It adds 14.5GB of storage in each transmitter for redundant recording (with a boost in audio quality) and the ability to wirelessly connect up to four microphones to a single transmitter.

Instead of turning M5Stack’s M5PaperS3 development hardware into another Kindle clone, Wenting Zhang used the Playdate’s open source CrankBoy emulator to create a Game Boy alternative with an easy-on-the-eyes E Ink screen. Having to play with touchscreen controls isn’t ideal, but we’d love to see this turned into an app optimized for the Boox Palma devices.

Through July 12th, Best Buy is offering a fairly significant price reduction on Roku’s top-end Pro Series mini-LED 4K TVs. All signs point to Samsung launching a wide version of the Galaxy Z Fold 8 this month, and now the company has released its first teaser. There are video versions too, all along similar lines teasing a “new shape” from the company.

Honeycomb Aeronautical has answered the biggest question I’ve had about its Echo Aviation Controller with a new XPC version designed to work with the Xbox instead of just PCs. It’s slated to hit stores later this year and like the original it’s compatible with Microsoft Flight Simulator and features a collection of customizable flight sim controls.

Launch details were lacking when the Moto Tag 2 was announced at CES in January, but it’s now available in the US and temporarily discounted to $19.99 for one, and $69.99 for a four-pack. Motorola claims up to 500 days of use from a single CR2032 coin battery, while UWB support allows for more precise locating.
