‘Triplets of Belleville’ director pushes back against AI accusations.
Sylvain Chomet says no generative AI was used in his Christian Dior’s Night in Color short. Some viewers claim to have spotted glitches and a character with six fingers, but Chomet and producer Aton Soumache say the film was made with traditional 2D animation, and that an automated interpolation tool was used for “a very small part of the process.”
