First images of the Moto Z2 Play leak

The first images of the Moto Z2 Play — the successor to last year’s battery powerhouse, the Moto Z Play — have leaked out, via TechnoBuffalo. Without actual information on the specs of the Z2 Play, the picture is pretty much all we have to go on for now, although hopefully the Z2 Play will be able to supply the same best-in-class battery life as the original.

Visually, the Z2 Play appears to strongly resemble its predecessor, aside from a slightly redesigned home button:

The Z2 Play does seem to have the necessary contacts to support Motorola’s growing stable of Moto Mods as well, which should be good news for anyone who already owns some of the hardware accessories.

It’s also worth nothing that the promo image displays a date of June 8th in the clock widget — which could be nothing, but also may hint that a proper reveal could be coming soon.
