It’s a package of “connectors,” installed via a toggle switch, that allows Claude to work inside tools like Intuit Quickbooks, PayPal, Docusign, HugSpot, Google Workspace, and Microsoft 365. “It can plan payroll, close the month, run a sales campaign, chase invoices, and more,” per Anthropic’s blog post.

Kolter laid out OpenAI’s different safety groups: the safety systems team, which works on guardrails and evaluations; the preparedness team, which deals with OpenAI’s preparedness framework; the alignment team, which helps train models on ways that “align with human values”; the model policy team, which develops the model spec; and other teams focusing on investigations. When speaking about the controversial dissolution of OpenAI’s superalignment team and AGI readiness team, he said some of that research is being done by other teams.

“I have no current plans to do so,” Altman replied, adding, “I’ve never thought about it before.”
He misstated at first that he didn’t currently serve on any such boards, though he is a trustee at the University of Chicago, which is a nonprofit.
The Microsoft CEO said that though things “started off as, essentially, a bunch of people leaving,” it turned into them “talking about creating a new company. That was obviously very concerning to me.” He said he was trying to make sure Altman and Greg Brockman joined Microsoft instead of launching a new competitor: “I just wanted to make sure we could hang onto the band that created all this technology, one way or the other.”
The former OpenAI CTO had receipts. But they mostly confuse her own story.
Zilis said she now recalled certain messages that she had said she didn’t recall in her deposition, saying that at this point she’d reviewed documents numerous times. Eddy said, “Your long-lost memories have since been recovered.”
A separate ideation email to Altman lays out certain options for changes to OpenAI’s structure, including one option of rolling all of OpenAI into a B-corp, or a for-profit company with a public mission, and another option of having both an OpenAI C-corp and a nonprofit.
