Editor, Commerce

Cameron Faulkner is a commerce editor at The Verge. Part of my role is to find and write about deals happening on products that I and our team think are worth your money. I spend just as much time digging into new gaming hardware and accessories. I’ve technically been hired by The Verge twice: first in 2018, then again in May 2025 when Vox Media sold Polygon (where I’d been working as commerce editor since 2023).

Exfil from work and jump into Marathon while it’s $27 on PC.

Bungie’s latest first-person shooter, Marathon, is cheaper than usual at Newegg. The Steam PC version is $26.99 (originally $39.99) when you use the code EPF4475 at checkout. It’s a great deal on a game that quickly made an impression on me and many others on staff with difficult, yet rewarding gameplay.

The last time Fire Emblem: Three Houses was this cheap was in 2022.

I love Three Houses — even more now that the Nintendo Switch 2 can run original Switch games with better performance. I’m replaying it ahead of the arrival of its successor, Fortune’s Weave, coming sometime later this year. If you care to join me, the digital version is $39.99 (was $59.99) at Amazon.
