    “Alexa, sing the song.”

I always enjoy Pablo Rochat’s delightfully unhinged projects whenever they cross my social media feeds and this one is no exception. It appears to be a work in progress, and really needs no further explanation but I will make two notes: 1) the tiny hats! 2) watch to the end for a great reaction.

Motorola is bringing the Edge 60 phone it launched in the UK last month to the US, but we’ll have to make do with a less exciting color treatment. Sold as the Motorla Edge 2025 in the US, it’ll cost $549.99 and comes with full water resistance, three 50-megapixel cameras, and a 3x optical zoom, and a 6.7-inch display. The reserved, dark green “forest” color option isn’t as eye-catching as some of Motorola’s other recent finishes, but at least there’s a faux-leather back.

    First.

We’re out here at I/O and we did our best Dieter impression by getting in line first. Or at least the press line to get into the amphitheater. We’ve got our seats locked down and the countdown to the keynote is on so stay tuned!

It’s gorgeous and fun to use, but is calling it Ultra a little much?

    The iOS effect.

Google is celebrating another RCS milestone, and this one’s a doozy: one billion messages sent in the US every day. Considering RCS had just reached one billion total monthly users at the end of 2023, it’s a big jump. That’s no doubt thanks to Apple turning on RCS support in iOS 18 and making it the default protocol when you’re not on iMessage. Sure doesn’t hurt!
