I didn’t expect Boston Dynamics’ new factory robot to be this nimble.

Despite first being destined for Hyundai factories, the production version of Boston Dynamics’ Atlas robot looks no less capable than the one that debuted over two years ago. A new video demonstrates some impressive moves with a soccer ball, including a celebration dance worthy of any highlight reel.

Motorola might be pulling a Honey with the Amazon app.

According to 9to5Google, launching Amazon from the app drawer on certain Motorola phones briefly opens a browser redirect to insert an affiliate link, similar to Honey’s affiliate link hijacking. We’ve got a random Redditor sniffing out packets, a fashion influencer’s name used for some reason, and no comment from Motorola yet. 9to5Google has advice on disabling the app in the meantime:

Since this behavior is stemming from a pre-installed Motorola app, you can just disable it (Settings > Apps > search “Smart Feed” > Disable). As far as we can tell, this has no immediate impact on your device and, on our affected Razr Fold, it immediately stops the redirect.

If the bill passes, it could resolve an issue that has caused chaos for Linux developers around the world.

The new deal, still being voted on, ensures enormous bonuses for memory chip workers but much smaller payouts for everyone else. Two Samsung unions take issue with that: one says its members will vote against the deal, the other says it’s taking legal action after being denied the chance to vote.

During a recent episode of Ryan McCaffrey’s Ride the Lightning podcast, Tesla’s chief designer, Franz von Holzhausen, confirmed its second-gen Roadster (first announced in 2017) will be built in Texas. The company’s vice president of engineering, Lars Moravy, also confirmed that alpha prototypes of the vehicle are currently in testing.
