It’s nearly GPT-5 time.

If it wasn’t obvious already, OpenAI is launching GPT-5 today. The live stream, which begins at 10AM PT / 1PM ET, confirms that OpenAI will “introduce and demo GPT-5.” GitHub already spilled the beans earlier today, and we’re now expecting four variants of GPT-5, with some improvements to agentic capabilities and the ability to handle “complex coding tasks with minimal prompting.”

OpenAI makes its debut on Amazon’s cloud service.

The company’s open-weight GPT-OSS models are now available on Amazon Web Services, letting customers access OpenAI models through the Bedrock and SageMaker platforms for the first time.

Along with Amazon, Nvidia, Qualcomm, and AMD have touted collaborations with OpenAI that allow its GPT-OSS models to run directly on their processors.
