Some people are losing too much weight in Retatrutide trial.

Randomized trial results of the experimental GLP-1, GIP, and glucagon drug shows that it may be too effective, while causing a whopping 11% of participants at the highest dose to drop out because of the severity of the side effects. In Optimizer, Victoria Song covered TikTok influencers pushing grey market knockoffs of “Ratatouille” and attempted to find out what was actually in them. (Please don’t buy shady “Retatrutide” from the internet.)

Crazy Taxi’s roof light just turned on for the first time in years.

Sega’s official Crazy Taxi account on X just made its first post in six years: a brief video.

The company confirmed in 2023 that reboots of Crazy Taxi and other classic franchises were in the works. Given this post, maybe Sega will officially reveal the new game at Summer Game Fest Live in June. Let’s hope The Offspring is still on the soundtrack.

Managed Democracy now manages DLSS and FSR support.

Helldivers 2 is getting upscaling support on PC and consoles on May 27th. In a blog post, Arrowhead Studios announced an upcoming patch will add DLSS, FSR, XeSS, and PSSR support. It will also add optimizations like VRR on PS5, and Nvidia Reflex for reduced latency on PC.

Sweet liberty!

Lenovo is somehow selling a handheld with thousands of Nintendo games.

Retro Dodo reached out, and sure enough, Lenovo admits it’s behind the G02. I can understand wanting a piece of the retro handheld action, but surely Nintendo didn’t license Lenovo to distribute thousands of titles? Then again, Anbernic’s been getting away with similar year after year.

The Mercedes-AMG GT 4-door coupe event sounds legitimately bonkers.

I’ll let Jalopnik’s Daniel Golson set the scene for you:

With 600 people in attendance, the automaker shut down Los Angeles’ 6th Street Bridge, turning it into a Hollywood Autobahn on which the new EV was ripping burnouts up and down the concrete just after sunset, with Brad Pitt and George Russell sitting shotgun. Then Blink-182 did a 30-minute set and made a lot of dick jokes.

Also Jacob Elordi was there? Wild times.

8BitDo’s customizable Xbox controller has been delayed until August.

The company announced on X that preorders for its Ultimate 3E Controller for Xbox with TMR sticks, Hall effect triggers, and swappable ABXY buttons will be available for preorder starting on May 26th. But while it was announced during CES 2026 with an estimated Q2 release, the controller now isn’t shipping until August.

Audi’s futuristic headlights are coming to America.

Audi says that its Matrix LED headlights reduce glare for oncoming drivers by using the vehicle’s front-facing cameras to continuously shape the light pattern in real time. Audi first released the headlights in Europe in 2013, but regulatory hurdles delayed their adoption in the US. A rule change in 2022 eased those hurdles, allowing Audi to launch the new Matrix LED headlights in its Q9 and SQ9 SUVs later this year.

AI storytelling game Hidden Door now lets users make their own universes to share.

The new Atlas tool lets users “build a fully interactive world,” and to encourage people to use it, Hidden Door will pay the creators of worlds that meet its guidelines — 30 percent of the platform’s subscription revenue will go to creators.

I tried Hidden Door last year, if you want to read more about it.
