Anthropic’s cybersecurity-focused AI model found 271 bugs in Firefox 150, Mozilla CTO Bobby Holley said, calling Claude Mythos Preview “every bit as capable” as top security researchers. Reassuringly, Mozilla hasn’t “seen any bugs that couldn’t have been found by an elite human researcher,” either.

Sun sets on Trump crypto alliance.

Once championed by the Trump family after heavily bankrolling their crypto ambitions, Justin Sun is now unhappy with his chosen bedfellows. Suing Trump-linked World Liberty Financial, Sun alleges in a federal lawsuit that his former allies maliciously froze his $75 million investment, denouncing the platform as “World Tyranny.”

Two more states announced settlements with Roblox.

Following Nevada’s settlement on Friday, West Virginia and Alabama have settled with company to address alleged child safety issues, as reported by Bloomberg. Last week, Roblox announced a bunch of new safety updates, including dedicated Kids accounts with increased restrictions.

Illinois tightens rules around insider trading.

Governor JB Pritzker signed an executive order today dealing specifically with prediction markets like Kalshi and Polymarket. State employees were already barred from using insider information for personal gain, but this executive order specifically bans them from using it to make bets on prediction markets.

The Curiosity rover’s latest Mars discovery.

A rock NASA’s Curiosity rover drilled in 2020 contained “the most diverse collection of organic molecules ever found on the Red Planet,” including seven never previously detected on Mars. The finding published today in Nature was made using its onboard Sample Analysis at Mars (SAM) laboratory.

Oppo’s Android version of the iPad Mini has a larger screen and smaller bezels.

Following a teaser earlier this month, Oppo’s Pad Mini Android tablet has launched in China. Its 8.8-inch OLED screen is larger than the iPad Mini’s, but the Pad Mini has slimmer 2.99mm bezels and is just 5.39mm thick. Pricing starts at 3,699 CNY (around $542) for 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
