Apple now lets PC emulator apps offer downloadable games.

App Review Guideline 4.7 now specifies that “retro game console and PC emulator apps can offer to download games.” (Emphasis ours.) Developers who want their apps notarized for third-party app stores now must also follow 4.7 and two of its sub-guidelines.

Apple has been slowly changing its stance on PC emulator apps: it rejected PC emulator apps in June before approving UTM SE in July.
