Proton has acquired the encrypted note-taking app Standard Notes.
Proton says it will make Standard Notes “more easily accessible to the Proton community” in the coming months, allowing users to securely store their notes alongside their emails, calendars, files, and passwords.
Nothing is changing in terms of pricing, as Proton says Standard Notes will still have a free option. Proton will also honor any existing subscriptions to the note-taking app.
