That’s according to Epic’s Bill Clifford. Seems like a smart move if Epic wants to make its mobile stores successful.
Epic’s Unreal Engine will be integrated into Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Cockpit Platform, meaning that automakers who rely on the platform can use Unreal Engine to make in-car experiences.
Following Steve Allison’s Epic Games Store news, Clifford is setting up what’s coming for the day. He says the state of Unreal is the strongest it’s ever been, with more than 850,000 monthly active users on Unreal Engine.
That’s according to Epic’s Steve Allison, who just took the stage.
ARK: Ultimate Mobile Edition will come to the store later this year — but only in the EU, which is the only place you can get Epic’s iOS store. The game will come to Epic’s Android store globally, too.
Somebody in the crowd thanked Tim Sweeney and Epic for fighting against Apple and Google to try make their platforms more open.
