That ‘AI-generated’ George Carlin special was actually made by a very human clout-chaser.
A spokesperson for Dudesy, the media company behind the fake special currently being sued by Carlin’s estate, has told The New York Times that the show was “completely written” by podcast host Chad Kultgen.
The “Dudesy AI” they claimed was behind the special is actually a “fictional podcast character,” seemingly created to fraudulently ride on all the attention real generative AI products are receiving.
