The Video Game History Foundation just put out a cool video highlighting the work it’s done to recover and recreate lost levels from Sonic The Hedgehog 2. The video delves into a bit of the development history of the game and presents a really interesting picture for how Sonic 2 was originally supposed to play out, including never before seen artwork and a recreation of one of the cut levels.
