The new covid-19 booster shots are now available for younger kids.
Today, the FDA authorized booster shots for younger kids that protect against both the original strain of covid-19 and the omicron variant. Kids as young as six can get the Moderna version, and kids as young as five can get the Pfizer version. The boosters have been authorized in adults since August.
