Over the last several years, Delphi — who last year took a self-driving car cross country from San Francisco to New York — has come to CES to show off deliberate evolutions in its autonomous driving technology. This year the big focus was on “vehicle to everything” (V2E), a collection of hardware and software that allows self-driving cars to talk directly to more devices and have more situational awareness. And like most autonomous driving, when it works in every day experiences, it kind of just... works.
