Kanye West’s seventh studio album, Waves, will come out on February 11th, and two days later he’ll perform for the seventh time on Saturday NIght Live, The Hollywood Reporter reports. Kanye’s SNL performances have always been pretty exciting to watch, mostly because NBC seems to let him have free rein to do whatever he wants.
Kanye West will perform on Saturday Night Live next month

Last year, West performed on SNL’s 40th anniversary episode with Sia and Chicago rapper Vic Mensa. It was, if nothing else, the most unique performance of the night, with Kanye rapping while lying on his back in the dark. In 2013, he debuted singles from Yeezus during his SNL performance. Wearing a studded leather jacket, West performed “Black Skinhead” in front of flickering visuals of price tags and a sign that said “Not for Sale.” Even his 2008 performance, which was slightly bumbling and plagued with audio problems, got people talking. Which means it probably won’t reflect well on your Monday work conversations if you miss this.
Melissa McCarthy will host the episode, which airs on February 13th.
