Konami has confirmed that Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will be released on September 1st this year. The date was revealed earlier this week in a leaked video, but has now been corroborated by the Japanese games company. The game’s competitive multiplayer mode, Metal Gear Online, will also go live on the same date, with retail prices from $59.99 for the PS4 and Xbox One, and $49.99 for the PS3 and Xbox 360. PC gamers can grab the game via Steam a few weeks later on September 15th for $59.99.
