Football fans just got a surprise look at the first trailer for next year’s Independence Day: Resurgence. Starring Jeff Goldblum and Bill Pullman (but with no sign of Will Smith), the film will show the alien threat from the original film returning with full force to Earth. And even though the planet has worked for the last 20 years to stand up to the inevitable attack, it may not be enough.
