The first X-Men: Apocalypse trailer is finally here, and it looks like its title villain is living up to his name. Oscar Isaac plays En Sabah Nur, a centuries-old mutant who was once worshipped in Ancient Egypt. After awakening in the 1980s, he quickly grows dissatisfied with mutantkind’s status on the planet, and recruits the likes of Psylocke (Olivia Munn) and Magneto (Michael Fassbender) as his Four Horsemen to help him cleanse the world. By trailer’s end, it’s up to Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence) and her band of young mutants — including Cyclops, Nightcrawler, and Jean Grey — to stop the oncoming genocide.
