Foursquare is typically used on smartphones to check in at places and find new places to go, but if you have a Windows 8 or RT laptop, tablet, or desktop computer, you can now download it from the Windows Store. Originally announced in June, Foursquare’s Windows 8 app is the first official one from the company designed for large-screen devices, and offers a finger-friendly design and layout with the ability to see your check-in history and discover new places to frequent. While it’s debatable whether or not Foursquare on your laptop or tablet provides anything more than Foursquare on your phone, the option is now available.
