Super NES game Earthbound is now available on the Wii U. After announcing that the title would be coming to the console’s eShop earlier this year, today Nintendo finally made it available to download for $9.99. The role playing game was originally released on the SNES back in 1995, and though it wasn’t a major hit sales wise, its quirky sense of humor has since turned it into a cult classic — so much so that die hard fans spent two years translating its Japan-only sequel. While that game is likely never getting an official English release, you can at least re-experience what made Earthbound so memorable on your Wii U.
