Nokia already added a double-tap to wake feature to its recently released Lumia 925 device, but today it’s improving what it describes as the Glance screen. An update to the Display + Touch app for the Lumia 925 includes a new Peek option under the Glance settings. Peek lets you simply hover your hand over the device to see the Glance screen with the time and the vibrate / silent mode notification. It’s not a huge new addition, but it’s interesting to see Nokia start to use the proximity sensor on Windows Phone in a similar way to how Samsung makes use of it on the Android-powered Galaxy S4.
