LG’s Optimus G Pro is indeed coming to America; it will be available from AT&T beginning May 10th. AT&T has also managed to secure exclusive US rights on the 5.5-inch, 1080p handset. The carrier has priced LG’s flagship at $199.99 on-contract and will begin accepting pre-orders for the device two days from now on May 3rd. Will the Optimus G Pro attract the same level of interest as the HTC One or Samsung’s Galaxy S4? Unlikely, but as our review notes, it’s yet another strong contender for anyone looking for an Android phone with a huge screen. Based on the number of Samsung Galaxy Note IIs we see on the street every day, it seems to be a booming market.
