What would you do if your company didn’t give you a raise? 44-year-old Edward Sobolewski decided to stick it to his employer, British company Frost and Sullivan, by systematically destroying its computer equipment with caustic cleaning fluids over the course of three years. Sobolewski was eventually caught spraying Cillit Bang — marketed as Easy-Off BAM outside of Europe — into computer grills and even pouring entire bottles into server equipment after the company installed security cameras. Sobolewski caused £32,000 ($50,000) in damages between 2009 and 2012, and was ordered to pay £10,000 ($16,000) and sentenced to eight months in jail, according to The Telegraph. In court, Sobolewski explained that he was suffering from depression after being declined a pay increase, but admitted his wrongdoing and offered to pay for the damage he caused.
