Just six people were able to successfully enroll in health insurance through Healthcare.gov, the government’s online marketplace, during the first 24 hours it was live. Just 242 people were able to enroll on the second day.
Only six people managed to enroll in health insurance on Healthcare.gov’s first day

That’s according to new documents released by the House Oversight Committee, which is investigating the website’s bumpy launch. Slow loading times, bugs, and errors prevented an unknown number of Americans from shopping for health insurance. The website had 4.7 million visits in the first 24 hours, the administration says.
The enrollee numbers come from the minutes taken during a so-called “War Room” meeting of administration officials and contractors called by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), the health department agency that oversaw the development of the website.

The administration has not released the number of health insurance enrollments, saying only that more than 700,000 people have completed applications. The number of enrollees will be released in mid-November, CMS says. The administration has committed to making the website run “smoothly for the vast majority of users” by the end of November.
