Licensing company Fulton Innovation has demoed its wireless charging tech that facilitates two-way wireless charging from mobile devices. Using the Qi standard for wireless charging, Fulton’s demo allows for a device — in this case a tablet — to be charged via a standard charging mat before the tablet itself charges a separate Qi-compatible device. It all seemed to work pretty flawlessly, but there’s no target date in sight just yet; Fulton will instead work with the Wireless Power Consortium to get the technology integrated into the Qi standard.
