Today, Chrysler beefed up its in-car internet music offerings, announcing the addition of Pandora, Slacker Radio, and iHeartRadio to its Uconnect dashboard system. Using your smartphone’s data plan, the Uconnect system streams the apps through the vehicle’s integrated entertainment system. Though Slacker Radio, Pandora, and iHeartRadio deliver differing content, each app has curated stations for a tailored, radio-like experience and allows users to like or dislike songs as they listen. Whichever service you prefer, the blooming availability of these apps in vehicles across number of manufacturers is a win-win, providing more choice for consumers, more reach for these music services, and more features for Chrysler’s 2013 lineup.
