Hot on the heels of its integration of Google+ hangouts in Gmail, Google has introduced new profile cards, which allow users to add contacts to circles, navigate to their profile, and more from right within the email service. In order to access the features, both the sender and recipient must have their email addresses linked to their Google+ profiles. Google has also added shortcuts for initiating shortcuts and viewing all previous emails from the sender. The new and improved Gmail profile cards are live for all users now.
