ZTE’s new flagship Grand X smartphone is available now from UK retailer Phones4U. Originally slated for a mid-August release, the Tegra 2-powered phone has gone on sale early via its launch-partner’s website. Unfortunately, pricing isn’t as competitive as we had hoped: it’s available for £49.99 on a £15.50-per-month Vodafone contract or for free on any monthly contract over £20.50. For context, Phones4U is offering the higher-specced HTC One S for free on a £15.50-per-month Orange contract. The Grand X, however, does have one thing that the One S doesn’t: stock Android 4.0. We’ll have a review of ZTE’s latest and greatest soon, so stay tuned to see if it’s worth spending your well-earned pounds on.
