Play this: ‘Eat Your Dinner’

While the title may make it sound like some sort of parental propaganda, Eat Your Dinner is actually a great example of a deceptively challenging puzzle game. The underlying mechanics are relatively simple — you need to eat all of the dots in each stage, and you can only pass through obstacles of a different color — but the difficulty quickly ramps up into an experience that will likely leave you scratching your head. Things get particularly tricky once you’re forced to control multiple snakes at once. The browser game only has a handful of levels at present and no soundtrack to speak of, but it’s still a great way to waste an afternoon. It’s also the kind of game that would make for a great mobile experience — hint, hint.
