Fujitsu announced that several updates to its Lifebook, Esprimo, and Futro computers will be available starting today, but only in Japan. Leading the updated lineup is the Lifebook U772/E Ultrabook with a 14-inch display and measuring from 9.0mm at its thinnest point to 15.6mm at its thickest. Fujitsu’s newest Ultrabook has a 9-hour battery life, boots from sleep mode in 7 seconds, and has been updated with an Ivy Bridge processor. The entire Esprimo line also gets an Ivy Bridge refresh, and will include a palm-vein sensor for additional security. Both new Lifebooks and all three Esprimos will ship in Japan later this month, while the Futro models will follow in July and August.
