Though originally scheduled for an April release and later delayed until May 24th, the Android 4.0 update for Sony’s Tablet P is only now making its way to owners. Available for download today, the update brings the dual-screen tablet up to version 4.0.3 from the Honeycomb build it originally shipped with, adding a variety of new features along the way. Most notably, the update includes new “Small Apps,” which offer small windowed access to a web browser, calculator, and media control functions while running supported fullscreen apps. The update also adds new panoramic photography capability, web browser enhancements, and quick access to the camera from the lock screen. For a full rundown on what the update includes, check out the Sony website.
