Camera porn is real, and Leica knows a thing or two about it. The company announced its special M9-P Hermès edition camera set this past week (one comes in at $25,000 and the other is $50,000), and it has released a making-of video that will make you salivate a little bit. The hand-assembled camera kit is one of 400, is adorned with calfskin leather, and the upper-tier package comes with a custom Hermès camera bag. Of course, the whole thing is shot beautifully and the sound is an integral part of the experience; be sure to keep the volume up to hear all of the details coming together. There’s just something so human about it — though it’s not nearly enough to convince us to put down a car’s worth of cash down on a camera.
