It’s a bit later than originally promised, but iOS game-of-the-moment Temple Run is officially heading to Android on March 27th. It’ll be free to download and play, presumably with the same in-app purchases that are available on iOS. More than six months after its release, Temple Run is still the seventh most popular free app on the iTunes Store as of this writing — according to developer Imangi Studios, the game has been downloaded some 40 million times since August of last year. We’re sure this game will see similar success with the huge new market available, but let’s just hope there aren’t any reports of “Temple Run fragmentation” like we saw with Tiny Tower.
