String-slicing puzzler Cut the Rope: Experiments has been released for Android. The game is the sequel to the original Cut the Rope, which made it to platforms as diverse as HTML5 browsers and the BlackBerry PlayBook. Experiments first hit iOS devices back in August, and didn’t do too much to shake up the winning formula: there’s still a piece of candy dangling from a rope, there’s still a cute monster named Om Nom at the bottom of the screen, and you’re still tasked with getting the former into the latter’s mouth via well-placed cuts and the occasional handy gadget. After an initial one-day period of exclusivity for the Amazon Appstore, the game is now available via Google Play for any Android devices over version 1.6, and it’ll set you back 99 cents.
