After Facebook started telling everyone what you listen to, the latest Spotify desktop app lets you keep it a secret by adding "Private Listening" to the File menu (Spotify menu on Macs). This should have been there from the start, but it's welcome news if you don't like the all-or-nothing approach of sharing your listening habits on Facebook. Now you can turn that feature on and off at will, without disconnecting from the social network — it's seriously really easy. We hope Mog, Rdio, and others quickly follow the leader and make going private this simple. Until then, download the latest version of Spotify and start listening to whatever you want again.
