The MotoACTV hasn’t been out long, but Motorola is releasing an update that includes additional clock faces and three battery modes: normal, extended, and marathon, the latter of which Motorola says will last through eight hours of continuous outdoor workout time. You also get a stopwatch — fixing a major omission for a wearable fitness computer — and the ability to continuously display your heart rate on the clock face. Of course, it still costs $249 for the 8GB version, and you still need to buy a separate $129.99 headset to use the heart monitor, but a cheaper wired version is coming soon. For those early adopters who weren’t discouraged by the cost of entry, the update should be available now.
