Starting November 15th, Fox News’ Special Report will undertake a series of interviews with the Republican presidential candidates, and, unusually, will run them through Google+ Hangouts. Fox News anchor Bret Baier will hold the first in the series with Governor Mitt Romney, with more in the works over the election season for the other candidates and “several members of the public.”
Fox News to use Google+ Hangouts for GOP candidate interviews

This reminds us a bit of the CNN-YouTube presidential debates in 2007, but with the advantage of live, two-way communication. Google+ Hangouts also allows up to 10 people into the chat, so we’ll see if the group interaction comes into play at all — who knows, it might be the home of the next debate. Next stop? Chatroulette.
