The Gmail application has returned to Apple's App Store today, following a two-week absence enforced by some teething issues encountered upon its November 2nd launch. To give it a try yourself, you should make sure to uninstall or log out of the earlier Gmail app — that’s a prerequisite for getting the updated version 1.0.2 to work. Also required is an iOS 4+ device, which actually covers most of the recent generation iPhones, iPads, and iPod touches.
