Talk about timing. Just as Apple's iMessage rolls out through iOS 5 and BlackBerrys everywhere experience BBM issues, Samsung's own messaging platform is hitting the Android Market. The free app is now available for download, but getting your account verified appears to be a major issue right now. A number of us Verge editors downloaded the app and attempted to register with our phone numbers, yet even after an hour we were still waiting for a confirmation. We'll keep you posted on that and will plan to bring you hands-on impressions as soon as we are up and running. Samsung is also planning on releasing ChatOn for the web as well as BlackBerry and iOS, but no word on when those will actually hit.
