While Samsung may have cancelled its unveiling of the Galaxy Nexus in deference to the passing of Steve Jobs, the South Korean company's not taking the release of the iPhone 4S lightly — it's opened a pop-up shop this week just a few buildings down from the Sydney Apple Store, enticing customers with a $2 Galaxy S II that's already prompted lines to form. Of course, with only 10 handsets available at the discount every morning through October 14th, we doubt Samsung's store will make too many waves around Apple's launch, but it's nice to see these two battle it out at retail instead of the courts.
