Motorola is the only major Android manufacturer that’s currently showing a big commitment to portrait QWERTY keyboards with devices like the Droid Pro, Titanium, Fire, and a few more that haven’t been announced yet. The trend continues today with the unveiling of the Pro+ for Europe and Asia, featuring slightly higher-end specs than the Fire that was unveiled a few days ago -- for starters, the Pro+ offers a 3.1-inch VGA display, quite a bit better than the 2.8-inch QVGA unit found on the Fire.

Though Motorola has only tipped that the Pro+ will be coming to Europe and Asia in October, it stands to reason that they’re likely shopping this one around to American carriers as well; two variants of the phone are available, including one that supports 14.4Mbps HSPA on AWS -- perfect for T-Mobile (plus a couple Canadian networks). If we hear anything on that front, we’ll pass it on.
