You might recall that Engadget pegged Sony’s Tablet S1 as the “Tablet S” for its forthcoming retail launch -- but the launch name of the S1’s stranger sibling, the diminutive clamshell S2, was still in the air. Well, that little mystery might be solved now: the site is now reporting that it’ll be known as the “Tablet P,” which seems like an appropriate homage to the similarly tiny Vaio P series notebook. We still don’t have a price or a launch date for either the 4G or the Wi-Fi variants, but at least we know what we need to be searching for on Amazon, Best Buy, and Sony Style now over the next few months.
